The government has undertaken a consultation across each of the six areas that are part of the Devolution Priority Programme (DPP), looking at the benefits of establishing a Mayoral Combined Authority in the area. This consultation closed on 13 April 2025 and we are awaiting the outcome.
Over the coming months, we will be carrying out engagement work with residents, communities, businesses and partner organisations across Cheshire and Warrington.
